Laura Linney is a famous American actress who has achieved remarkable success in her acting career. Born on February 25, 1964, she grew up in New York City and studied theater at Yale University. Her representative works include Oz, Under the Tuscan Sun and John Adams. She won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical Comedy in 2004 for Kinsey and an Emmy Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series in 2009 for The Savages.
