George Clooney's wife is Amal Clooney.
Amal Clooney, full name Amal Clooney, was born in Beirut, Lebanon in 1978 and later moved to the United Kingdom. She is a successful lawyer specializing in international and human rights law and received her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law. Amal has worked for many international organizations and completed her law studies at the London School of Economics. During her career, Amar has represented a number of notable cases, including an appeal on behalf of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange.
Giorgio and Amal were romantically married on September 27, 2014 at the Ca' Farsetti Palace in Venice, Italy, in a ceremony officiated by Giorgio's close friend and former mayor of Rome, Walter Veltroni. Shortly after their wedding, they welcomed twin children, Alessandra and Ella, who were born in June 2017.
Despite his career success, George has never hidden his parenting challenges. He has humorously shared his experiences as a father in interviews, such as worrying that his children would become “too British” because of their environment and trying to get them to use American English vocabulary.
George has also recently been working on a new project for his own father. George has also been promoting his Broadway show “Good Night, and Good Luck,” a stage adaptation of the movie of the same name, which he starred in, co-wrote and directed nearly 20 years ago.
